Notes

Despite glorious, unbroken sunshine for the entire weekend there was a very low turnout of both competitors and spectators alike, hence some class eliminators were not run.
Two Funny Cars were present, Ronnie Picardos 'The Force' and Owen Haywards 'Houndog'. The only run on the Saturday saw Ronnie with problems, recording a 7.58/179 to Owens 7.36/154. Hayward put in two runs on the Sunday at 7.17/200.4 and 7.02/193.4.
Ronnie had success elsewhere though. He took a turn driving the 'Hemi Hunter' Pro comp car of Gerry andrews. Gerry was on holiday.He qualified second in a six car field and went on to win the eliminator.
Dave Tucker, driving the 'Stripteaser' Mini Van Altered got way out of shape in his race against Ian Witham in 'Strip Lighting'. He crossed lanes, just missing Ian, and took a trip up the grass bank before coming to a standstill, somehow managing to keep the car the right way up. It is reported that he killed a rabbit in the process!
