"Brutus"
The recent Speedfreaks Ball at Santa Pod Raceway saw many memorable vehicles take to the strip. One of my favourites was this superb original example of a 1960s drag/sprint bike. The owner, Nick Tunstill, has had the bike since he built it in 1963. The motor is a 1949 1000cc Vincent V-Twin and the original frame was modified by Alf Hagon. The bike also features an original Hagon nose cone and it has run best times in the ten second bracket.
