Page thirteen details the last run in class 15 against the Allard Chrysler. Despite a red light the team were pleased with their best ever terminal speed of 167mph in 10.16 seconds. Peter notes that the Allard dragster ran a 9.3 which he follows up with a question mark! Again the timing slip is pasted onto the page.

Jimmy Goddard took the car home after the meeting. Peter records the total number of runs at 29.

October 4th was spend again drying out and cleaning the car.

The Dragfest was the last competative meeting that the Croft partnership ran the car. They did however put in three runs on a wet track at Croft during a days filming for Max Factor! It was also taken to an exhibition at Scorton before the decision was taken to sell the car. Peter notes that "no interest was shown".

The next engagement was to display the car at the German Racing Car Show at Wiesbaden. The car was trailered up and hitched to the back of Bruce Ropner's Sunbeam Tiger. The journey home sounds like quite an adventure as Peter describes sand drifts on the roads in Belgium and a force 8 gale during the channel crossing.
